Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does a perinatal coach do?
I support Christian moms emotionally, mentally, and spiritually through pregnancy and postpartum. Think of it as a blend of nervous system support, faith-centered guidance, emotional processing, and practical tools you can actually use in the chaos of mom life.
I’m not a therapist — I’m your steady companion, guide, and co-regulator through the biggest transition of your life.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy focuses on diagnosis and treating clinical concerns.
Coaching focuses on transformation, alignment, and giving you tools today so you feel better now.
You’ll have more access, more check-ins, more support between sessions — and we work with faith, neuroscience, and daily rhythms in a very practical way.
If you ever need clinical support, I will point you to the right resources.
Do I have to be Christian to work with you?
No. I work with moms of all backgrounds.
My approach is rooted in Scripture and God-centered wisdom, but you will never be pressured into any belief system.
I hold space with compassion and respect — always.
When is the best time to start coaching?
Anytime between 30 weeks pregnant through the first year postpartum is ideal.
Most moms come to me when they feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or like they’re “losing themselves.”
Others come because they simply want a strong emotional and spiritual foundation before baby arrives.
Can I work with you if I’m already seeing a therapist or doula?
Yes — and it often works beautifully.
Your therapist addresses clinical needs.
Your doula supports birth or postpartum logistics.
I support the emotional, spiritual, and identity journey in between.
It all weaves together.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Every program can be broken into monthly or biweekly payments to make support accessible without pressure.
