How my journey began
My journey into motherhood wasn’t what anyone around me could see from the outside.
The Christmas after my son was born, I remember being surrounded by family — laughter, warmth, celebration — and yet feeling deeply alone. I was afraid to tell anyone what I was really feeling, worried they’d blow it out of proportion or see me differently. It was a quiet, isolating ache I carried by myself.
What I needed was someone who could say,
“You’re not broken. You’re not failing. You’re not alone. Here’s how we walk through this, step by step.”
But I didn’t have that.
What finally pulled me toward healing was my son. I wanted him to grow up loving God — and I realized I couldn’t model that for him if I was disconnected from Him myself. That moment shook me awake: no one could help me unless I was ready to receive the help. And I knew I couldn’t be the only mom feeling this lost, this overwhelmed, this unseen.
Slowly, I began learning how God designed our bodies, brains, and hormones to work together to carry us through motherhood — not perfectly, but purposefully. Every part of us is a piece of His intentional design. When we support all of it — our nervous system, our emotions, our spirit — motherhood becomes less about surviving and more about becoming who God created us to be.
I built Bump2Baby Coaching because I wish I had someone like this in my own pregnancy and postpartum season:
someone who could hold space without judgment, guide me with faith and science, and remind me gently — you were never meant to do this alone.
Now, I get to be that person for other moms.
No right or wrong, no shame, just someone who gets it.
